in the ice-2014 Racing!

At six o'clock shharp under the watchful eye of the Fisheries Dept,the

lobster boats took to the sea.Thank you for your comment-Laurent

what an armada! great  moment captured.

Thank you kindly;the light was a good and I wish I would have had my ultra wide angle to get more of the boats but....!And it was cold(-1C) and with the wind atop the bridge,the camera fingers got stiff very quickly;and surprise,by the time these boats had dropped their traps,the tide had floated the ice back in the harbour making it very hard for them to get back to base.Some went out in the ice anyway with the second load but others kept the  load for the next day(today).
