Very nice lively capture, Ruud! Great composition, black&white rendition and the unwitting trio!

Best regards,

Ruud, My attention is focussed on the couple left. The woman is much more tall than her friend. Very striking in Holland. Groeten, Marco

Hi Ruud

This scene is full of life and movement. Looks like the man on the bike will crush any second, the blowing hear of the woman.... but on the other hand my eyes constantly being drawn to the circular structure on the left. Which is not bad of course it makes the composition more interesting for me. Monochrome works well here too.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Ruud, just goes to show that seemingly close people can be in their own little worlds!. Well captured. Regards. Bob

My first comment was offered in haste and I still find the rider the central element.  However, at second look I find the short guy interesting.  It seems the rider has startled the young lady and the walking guy has reflexively put out a protective hand to her and also made a protective fist with his right hand (all the while glowering at the rider).   I might add that he (short guy) has seriously over-achieved with this beautiful young lady, obviously he must be a fine fellow ;-)...  As always, excellent work, perfectly timed... There will be "bad news" soon if he doesn't watch where he is going. This is a wonderful capture...so many great expressions and reactions. Beautifully framed too!

Lively, engaging composition. There is a lot to think about in this image. The fact that the bicyclist may crash at any moment brings interest and life to it. A very successful shot with impeccable timing.

Maybe I'm just too easily provoked, but this picture strikes a nerve. It's a strong statement of careless disregard for safety. Excellent in so many ways.

I work in a University town and this sort of thing is all too common, although usually with pedestrians. They blindly walk into people while glued to their all-important screen.

I've always said, if you crash into me because you're on your cell phone, pray to god it's a small phone - because it's next act will be mimicking a suppository.

Patrick: I shot this in an university town, too...
