Thanks Mr Mancil! This bird and the Skimmer own the word 'Eratic' in flying, in my opinion. My weapon against these guys ... is my hand-held shooting habit since hands/eyes coordination work better together than having to translate to a tripod/head/gimbal head setup. That and the relatively fast f4 lens + 1D Mark III .  With a new 600mm II + 1DX this type of shot would be childplay, I think  :-) - The new 5D III  & 1DX lock focus to the subject much better than my old tech 1D III
