The unusual perspective and the perfect symmetry impart a certain sci-fi feel to this photograph. Beside that it is a very interesting study of shapes and negative spaces. One could even goes so far as to speculates that while the building itself is quite modern the negative space defined by it's outlines and the sky resemble a silhouette of an ancient shrine or temple.
