My thoughts 'mirror' what Trisha said about the previous version.  We become different people depending on the environment and the circumstances.  I agree that this crop is better.  I would also like to have seen a shot with the camera not being reflected, by shooting from the hip.  Then we'd see your face, too.

Not that I haven't done it, but this is a completely accomplished nice and original composition! Bravo, Jack!

Best regards

I thought your creativity would never get confined in any kind of "frames" Jack, i was wrong :-)!

This points successfully to the core of things; the fractured self versus the unity of apperception, the framing versus being framed, the autonomy of perspective versus the insight of overarching synthesis: all unreleased tension - a source of endless joy and richness for him who has what Keats called negative capability.

I also like this one better with the intruder zapped out.Good work!

I can see a careful planning of this very interesting setup. However if it was not planned, the comment still stands, only to enhance your adroitness. Every element belongs there. The play of mirrors is fascinating and intriguing. Much more than a self-portrait, I guess that the photographer in this photo seems to be an other person, with the camera perfectly positioned in the top center. Such complexity is seldom achieved. Sincere congratulations and appreciation for sharing.

Jack multiple frames is a clever and original idea. I too like this one better simply because there are no distractions. Perfect execution and set up imho.

Exquisite mirroring multiple self. One can feel the excitement within the game of photography. My hat to this funny original shot.  Best,

Now it is even better, with the emphasis on you--and you seem to be holding together pretty well in spite of what the light is doing to you.

Very original!  and a  good eye...again.   You have a nice artistic sensitivity. I think in black and white this picture can also look great!

Regards,

Rosario.
