Another simple, effective, translucently moody image from Regina. Any suggestions would just be nitpicking. It's lovely and another fine example of the "C" word.

This is excellent! I love the mist! The colours are great and the placement of the sun is perfect. The branches bring the eyes into the frame. Very nice moody shot.

One of your finest to date Regina,you have become adept a landscapes.Excellant tonal graduations with enough detail in the grasses to keep it interesting.I like the simplicity of composition but think the tree branch extends just a tad too much into the center of the frame.Keep shooting!

Regina! I go away for a while and look what I come back to - one of your finest! This is a wonderful photo. The coloring so warm, like the end of summer, the sun so low, like the end of a season, the harvest complete, the multi-layer composition, the details in the tree and field... all combined to make a wonderful photo. Great job! Keep it up! Bill

Thanks for all the kind words. This is a favorite shooting spot. There are fields, barns, fences etc. and no matter what time of day or time of year I go back to it, there seems to be something interesting to shoot.

The layers were what I was hoping to capture as well as the misty morning mood. Glad to know you all can see what I saw.

Again, Happy Fall to "y'all".

Wondering what the people in your home state would think of you using the word 'ya'll' ....................... (-;

I agree with Thomas about the branch. What really looks cool to me are the silouettes of the tops of the grasses and that orange 'glow' they produce. Did you get shots from any other perspectves on that morning ? Love the color.
