"Reflection" - Minolta 7s

kmac

Cropped to zoom in on some chrome detail of this vintage car. My reflection in the chrome light body was unintentional but there it is, smack bang in the middleA little enhancing was done to compensate for loss of quality in this older negative, I've brought it back to pretty much how my trusty Minolta exposed it on the day - Software: ArcSoft PhotoStudio;

Scanned from an eighteen year old slightly faded negative and if my memory serves me correctly, the Minolta was set on "Auto" to take this shot, one of many taken using Auto during the course of the day at the carshow. A spot of saturation and sharpening in Mac OSX Preview "Adjust Colour" tool was all that I employed to bring this originally sharp image back to acceptable viewing. One thing I've never done is underestimate my Minolta 7s. I bought it secondhand many years ago and it's always been completely reliable, needing only a rangefinder adjustment every five years or so. Otherwise, it has sound mechanicals, robustness, versatility, good optics and faithful colour, I'm pleased to say
