Lovely.  The lone figure creates interest;  what is he doing on this vast lonely beach at the edge of night?

The only/lone figure on this cold beach was holding the camera.What you see in the middle of that bright  reflected spot is a small spruce tree frozen to a dislocated piece of floating ice.It is a remnant from the ice-fishing as these small trees are  left in the abandoned holes to prevent people from falling in when the fishing sheds are moved to new locations.On breakup of the ice sheet,they make for an interesting spectacle although they eventually become hazardous to the lobster boats.I enclose a closer shot and thank you for looking in and for the observation.

I did wonder what he was doing out there!  Thanks for the close up, he now looks as though he is in a canoe! :)

I am the one that should be suffering from cabin fever after the wnter we just had.This ice is still in the process of of leaving the harbour but there is yet a lot of the resistant ice sheet still floating around.
