Excellent choice of title! While I usually try to avoid having the title "influence" my reading of an image, in this case, it seems to cover all major elements in this photo so excellent that I cannot have any problem with reading it with "title-glasses" on.

A photo of unexpected depth and layers; it seems such a simple street scene but both the partial colour/partial B&W treatment as well as the clever title have me on a discovery trip inside this photo. Thanks for that :-)

Nice shot. I think Hemingway would approve. His islands in the stream will soon be lined with hotels and crosswalks as I saw it. Reflected in puddles.

the title  suits the photo and the colour  in the waters reflection really  makes the photo  interesting  and original .. lets keep the pedestrians over on the land for awhile before they disturb the puddle.

OK. A voice of discontent. Though this is one of the better of such treatments I've seen, I still find the partial de-saturation and partial color scheme a mostly non-workable device. There's just something about it that calls attention to itself in a very inorganic way. Having said that, the shot itself still has your signature attached and the half guy all the way at the left, partially cut, is a great addition as he seems to be looking on or waiting in the wings. It's always tough to question someone else's expressive gestures, so I won't question your handling of the color, but I suppose it's OK to just say I don't like that aspect. That puts it on me, not you.
