Wow, very human memorable  and touching image.

An extraordinary picture. The first thing that strikes you are the beautifully balanced tones . Only after do you notice the poignancy of the moment and the almost skeletal presence of the old man as he opens the door of the refrigerator in his cluttered kitchen. Definitely a picture with a sting in its tail.

Marie and Jack, thanks for having a look and the positive feedback. I was out and about at spring Arts Walk.  I forgot where my car was, so I was wandering around the general area where I thought it was located. I walked past a low rent senior housing apartment complex. This room was at ground level, his shades were open and the lights were on. Then elderly man with no shirt wandering around the room stopped me in my tracks. I felt guilty watching him, but I could not take my eyes off his shirtless body and the clutter. I was standing in the dark. I convinced myself this would not be intrusive if I did not show his face. Still feel a little guilty, but am very happy with the result.
