andrea-de-bonis 6 Posted April 27, 2014 very good comp, with the policemen that gives depth, and a bw very well working, a lettle bit magic, with the white ewtremized but full of details. what i like more is that we can see all the faces and expressions. i feel tired to see always the back of the people..... overdiep 0 Posted April 27, 2014 Line, Very nice the way you placed the monks in the light with the policemen in perspective. The monks are in a devine atmosphere. They are almost in heaven. Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted April 27, 2014 An unusual composition in many respects. The odd presence of police officers, with the monks oblivious of their presence. The white vignetting, the somehow overexposure (which works perfectly here!), creating not only a compelling image, but also forces the mind to grasp something quite different. The expressions on every monk are also wonderful. You have thus achieved something quite special in photography, particularly when there are literally billions of images out there. Well done.DG Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted April 28, 2014 The tones and composition here are just extraordinary. The two cops seem a bit bemused by the goings on. I think this is really an outstanding piece of work. Link to comment
LineMartel 6,260 Posted April 28, 2014 Thanks to each of you for stopping by and taking the time to comment. This was taken at the Earth Day celebration in Dallas... I was concentrating on the monks and only realized that the police officers were in there after taking the shot. I was pleased as I liked how diametrically opposed their approach at keeping peace was..Thanks again,Line Link to comment
