Beautiful color and tones and especially the use of light to add a note of quiet drama to the scene. Of course it helps to have a lovely model as well.. The only thing that bothers me a little is the positioning of the feet which feels a little awkward.

Michail,is a very nice composition,I like the way light comes on model and back on the book. What Jack said is indeed something a bit awkward.

Yea guys it's awkward indeed, but she is a ballerina and all that practice in (or should i say on) those uncomfortable pointe shoes has apparently neutralized some nerves in that area. She must have been feeling quite comfortable with her toes tottaly diformed like this and that's why i never noticed that.

Thanks for pointing that out, i will keep it in mind next time.

Now that you have told us that she is a dancer, I think it adds interest.  The toes are prominent because of the low angle of the shot, but my eyes also go to her hands and face, and the music book on the piano.  I'm guessing these are lit by a window to the right, which is providing just the right amount of beautiful light.  She looks very confident and relaxed, appropriately proud of her talents.

Nice portrait and a lovely model. The composition is well thought out and light is nice and subtle. Perhaps the models face could use some more light..

Michail,

If you wanted to bring attention to the feet - you made it. The eye is drawn to the bright part of the image - the lamp, book and the carpet where the foot is. Her lovely face does not get attention.

Kind regards

Bela Dick

A very nice "mood" in this picture with nice warm tones. The expression of the girl is also very nice.

Thanks for your visit
