Surprizing "Bird's eye" POV, dark scary waters and o lot of tension by the surfer who is trying to climb his own Everest!!! What more can a spectator ask for?

Oh, but that would be telling!! No big mystery: on a pier. There are lots of them on the California coast, and they provide a wonderful way to almost be out there in the water, without the prospect of getting wet. (This one is in Oceanside, CA)

This man (Sean Poynter) is a world class paddle board surfer. It's not your big old paddle board, either. It's much closer to a surf board. I didn't even know about this sport a few days ago.
