Absolutely beautiful wonderful, clarity, color , texture and lighting !!!!!    Again my only comment would be I would like to see more stem, but just a personal preference.  Well done!!!!!    AJ

I wish I had a flower garden... Living in Texas, I have given up trying to grow anything! This is a beautiful shot. I do agree with AJ, and would have gone vertical with more stem. But again this is just personal preference.

Line

Delicate, elegant with a nice light on it.Softness where need it and sharp for details part.Is a slim tulip and I think that this gives a different effect to viewer,a very good one,I like how colors is dispersed on petals.

Very beautiful, with lovely colour and clarity, although I too would have liked a vertical format with more of the stalk.

AJ, Line,Radu and Gillie,

Thanks for the look and your input.

Indeed- Verena puts a great deal of effort in our garden - mainly because it is our sole source of veggies year round- but also in thinking of having interesting blooms available for me to photograph ( and for us to enjoy in situ) as long as the seasons allow. There are quite  a large variety and the seed catalogues enjoy her annual quest for something new and interesting.

Line- surely in Texas there are still blooms that would thrive in your climate - if nothing else, succulents?
