It was a relief to see that when the dogwood bloomed, there were

plenty of bees around that had survived the winter and were ready to

rock and roll.

Pretty standard shot, nice composition even though the subject is almost dead center, the flowers make it asymetrical so it works. I kind of dislike the image frame, I think it's too much, distracting.

Thank you both for your comments; the picture worked quite well as an Easter card, but maybe the border is a little over the top for a plain photograph.

I actually think that having the bumblebee in the center works very well here. The pic gives one a true feeling of spring. However I don't like the framing, but this is just a matter of taste. V
