It is, as almost all my works surreal, but there is no such categoryon PN, so I put them all in the category of abstract!

Thank you foryour attention, dear colleagues!

Thank you, Gail!

You may now chuckle and giggle, but this picture has not such a funny motif!

The medieval knights whose duty was to spread (even by force) the Christianity were so stupid and unaware of doing the opposite, they together or better to say in service of the church whose role was to gather power and wealth unlike Christ has taught us all! Very painful, tragic and dark period for Europe and later  Americas!

Yes sir, Jamie sir!

Please turn a blind eye to that bloody shadow this time for the sake of my prosperity!

And which shadow would it be, sir?

OK, so the question is did the Medieval Knight travel to the future to view the modern day object which in that time would not be so "illuminating" or was the object transported to Medieval time which would certainly give the Knight much to ponder!!!!   (so maybe I spent too much time thinking about this one???). Well done, as always much for me to ponder.   AJ

Fine image! I like the title and the collase together. You are right there is no "surreal in the categories" - experimental or something similar might be available. But I am sure that abstract is enough-maybe in the future.. The shadow work is particularly fine in this work and gives a special feeling to it.

When I see first the photo in thumbnail I am wonder  each time what is the title you gave it,you have an unique style that can be recognized without to have the signature on it.I like all the time to read in how many ways can each of us imagine what about in your composition.

I remember a few years back when Ford Motor Company here ran some TV Ads with the view of a Light Bulb lit up with a slogan something like "A better idea."

So, maybe this is pointing the Knight in the direction of a better idea?

Cheers always dear friend!

Dear Pierre, I follow all your series of medieval knight, the tree ... and I really like them, you give free rein to your imagination.

It's a witty parallel to compare a light bulb to understanding. In Medieval times their guide was only their Faith, only that and nothing was superior to their religion.

The dark tree, the rider ... and the use you make of the shadows, give your photos a personal touch and charm.

I like this composition and the comparison among light bulb - Faith - Enlightening.

I find a sense of humor.

Congratulations and kindest regards!. Laura M.

Almost nothing to ponder about here, AJ!

I just wanted to show the humorous side of the knights fighting for their church, not faith!

Thank you for your precious visit and comment, my friend!

About the shadows Jamie said above something else, but I don't know which one his comment referred to!

Yes, I'm unique because I don't copy others! That's all!

Hi, Jim!

Only one correction, not to better idea, to the basic idea!

The church and its servants the knights had only forgot the idea!

Thank you for your visit and comment, my dear friend!

It was a substitute for their faith, Laura!

The key words of the Christian religion are faith, hope and love! The poor knights forgot two of them and one (faith) transformed into church!

Nothing peculiar for the church already did the same before! Maybe unlike the knights the church was aware of what it was doing! Greed is the name of the game!

That is all this picture is about!

Thank you for your precious visit and your very positive comment!
