Either floating away or stranded on the beach, all these ice blocks

were once part of a solid ice sheet....not so long ago.Thank you for

There is definitely a focal point, where the eyes are drawn. As always great capture. We were teasing you about all this free time to take photos, of course you spent innumerable hours shoveling and plowing! We are well aware what a severe winter means in work - we heat strictly with wood, too.

Perspective seen here as in other your photos is very good indeed.Looking this I think and wonder how much energy has nature  to freeze and melt again this ice.

my best regards my friend

Thank you again. On shots like this one,I think the presence of a good sky captures the attention and then lets the eyes drop to appreciate the scene below. Now that all this snow is gone, you would think I would have more time for photos;not so,I will soon be parking my winter tractor and taking out my lawn tractor in preparation for those acres of grass that will need attention. And the wheel keeps turning!

Thank you again for your observation. You are right that there is a lot of natural energy transfer in the arrival and departure of this snow....and that is not taking into account the human energy required to pass through this period.....but to be philosophical, that is life! All the best to you my friend.

Salutations-Laurent
