Heavy overhang!

Laurent, you need to scale this berg and do a selfie with you on top. Then again, you might have a Sherpa's demise. Good capture.

I am not strong on selfies but if you go to the shot next(right) to this one,I got my dog to stand still long enough to give an idea of the size of these blocks.These are rendered fragile by the warmer temperatures /rain  and pieces  like this one with heavy overhangs do break out suddenly and create good splashes and break the silence in this othewise very quite environment.....so care has to be taken when shooting these from underneath,but nothing to warren a comparison with what the Sherpas saddly experienced.Thank you for looking in and for the observation.

It's almost as if the clouds have come down from their usual place to have a taste of ocean life. Really an unusual shot.

This one had a really heavy overhangand and taking it from this upward POV made for an interesting shot.Of course with some exposure to the warmer temperatures and the rain,it has since collapsed.And guess what,as I write the rain that was falling has turned solid to add a fresh coat over the snow we still have.Thank you for looking in my friend;I always enjoy your thoughtful observations.
