Pierre Dumas 286 Posted April 24, 2014 Seven all the way for it's simply perfect in every regard! Best regards, Jacqueline! PDE Link to comment
tm_j 30 Posted April 24, 2014 A bit of a tight crop but I love the perspective, shooting angle. TFS! Link to comment
capresco 0 Posted April 24, 2014 The contrast is amazing in this photo. The depth of field was a good choice. It seems so fake, I hope it's real! Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted April 24, 2014 HDR look is a little distracting, but I like the bird a LOT. BTW, that's not a buzzard, but a hawk. Link to comment
samsuddha 0 Posted April 25, 2014 Amazing 'portrait'...the pose really conveys the majesty and beauty of the buzzard.I fing the background though nice (and important too, since it gives a sense of his/her home terrain) to be competing too much with the subject. Maybe you could try and tone it down by lowering contrast, clarity and sharpness and maybe even introduce some vignetting. If you are using LR%, this would be great candidate for Radial filter I think. The bird is not able to stand out enough since his/her colors and textures are too similar to that of tor/hill in the background which also in sharp focus.Otherwise great pic in every way. Guest Guest Posted April 25, 2014 Looks great! I do agree with Les though that the HDR look (not sure if it actually is or not) is a little distracting. But the sharpness is impressive and I like the idea of the mountain. Link to comment
