Thank you for the so kind appreciation.I was fortunate that it was low tide and that I could step in amongst  the ice blocks without getting too wet feet even with high boots;the sky conveniently opened up for a short while to give this good background.I returned to this beach yesterday(one day later) to find that most of these blocks had either broken up or were floating away and today,it is raining,so this area will be ice free unless a new storm brings a fresh crop from the open sea.The harbour is still frozen and the Hovercraft has now arrived in an attempt to break the ice sheet and open the way for the start of the fishing season....maybe more photo opportunities.
