I think the object has something about it and has potential for great photos.

In the image there is nothing where the eye is fixed. Maybe the windows or the white shed on the left.

I think a different point of view and more sharpness to the image would help it tell a story. 

The cross is barely visible unless one looks for it. If it were standing alone against the sky as a background it could play a bigger role in the image.

I must agree with both of you.  This was an experiment that didn't quite make it, and I knew that when I posted it.  I thought that the cross disguised within the tree branches might have some symbolic value, but the overall quality of the image didn't allow that to come to the forefront.
