Very cool. Nice comp, interesting too. I worry about the people on the beach though. That bird has a menacing look to him.

This is a Digital Alteration Composition merging portions of 4

different images. My Tech details are for the Original image of the

Bush on the right, portions of the beach and the surfer in the middle.

It was a very hot and bright day, sand blowing all around in the air,

humidity was gruesome. There were warnings about the strong

undercurrent, very high waves in some areas, hence the fellas out

to 'catch one'. Images taken on the Beach in Jupiter, Florida, Egret

was at Bubba Gumps Restaurant (waiting for the Catch Of The Day!,

Jupiter Lighthouse was across the Inlet from Bubba's.(any visits and

thoughts shared are most welcome, kind regards, Gail)

Hi Chuck!! This one was fun to work on. The Egret was pretty hungry, on the pier at Bubba Gumps. It was waiting for the restaurant worker at the next place to finish fishing. He was throwing a net out into the water catching fish. Here though, he just might have his eye on one of the surfers!! Many thanks for dropping by. :) Gail

It encompasses so much of what Florida is all about. Your PP as always is fascinating Gail. Lots to see here,I like the person standing near the steps waving. Very nice with a calm inducing mood. Take care.

Best Always,

Holger

These excursions into collage type pictures are very interesting, Gail. You have the mastery of technique that allows you realize your journeys into the world of the imagination and "bring 'em back alive" (as they used to say about Frank Buck a famous collector of wild animals in the 30's and 40's). I'll be watching to see what you come up with next.

Hi Gail. I have entertained looking all the detais of the picture. I like the texture (or textures) you used,  warm colors,  the elements here, and the way you've combined them.  I like the heron, but particularly, I think this picture would look better without it, but it is a matter of personal taste.

Kind Regards,

Rosario.

An interesting way to tell a story.  I can never get my composites to work like yours so I've given up.  The surfing ghosts are a nice touch.

Magnificent artwork Gail! I love how the blend is composed to create a dream like experience. So well done my friend!

That is a pretty menacing looking Egret!

Maybe he's eaten a Surf board or two, as I don't see any in the image but can imagine them if indeed this is a Florida scene. But, I've just got to ask, . . . wasn't Bubba Gumps more at home up and down the Bayous of Lousiana somewhere, . . .

For me, I see this more as a West Coast scene somewhere from San Francisco or farther north. Maybe even along the Oregon or Washington coast.

The person at the bottom of the stairs is waving to signal the fresh catch of Salmon at the Surf & Turf Resturant at the top of the stairs. The Egret is just wishing he too were invited!

Oh my, I had better go find Bubba Gumps, I definately need a drink of southern hospitality after all that "brain workout!"

I do like your image though, . . . it evokes so many different places and, so many different times!

Regards & Cheers always,

Jim j.

Great story telling and combination of images - and all with great processing! I wish I knew how to do this as I have so many ideas rambling around in my head for images I'd like to combine with my poetry. I have basic photo-shop and don't even know where to begin! I especially like the textures you have added and my photo-shop doesn't have those (after my computer crashed, I had to re-install photo-shop and for some reason I no longer have textures to the extent I did before). Excellent work and lovely image! Thank you for sharing. :)
