Another Abstract that started with the image of a flower. Oil Paint

filter used, I will post the image of the flower as well. (visits and your

thoughts shared are always appreciated, kind regards, Gail)

Hi Gail,

First, thanks for putting the original up too. For those of us like myself who have no experience in PP of this kind, it is always interesting to see the starting point.

This image is especially beautiful. The gentle elegance of the flower is maintained (especially in the outer "petals', but the geometric detail on the inside is amazing! I also love the textures, especially that of the background.

Another great one! Looks like you are getting fond of the oil paint filter. This is an exellent use of the effect.

I like it very much. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Gail,  This is another of your excellent creations.  I too appreciate the original, actually I prefer it even though I like this one as well.   This looks a bit like wrapping paper with a fancy bow.  Finally, spring appears to have arrived; the eight inches of snow we had earlier this week is gone and the earliest flowers and grasses are beginning to green and peek out from the soil.  Happy Easter to you and your family.  Larry

Yes, thanks for posting the original image you started with!

As I have no experience with this type of post processing for these wonderful creations, . . . it is a big help to see where they start!

"Nature's Crossroads" here looks like a very busy place! But, . . . "a nice busy with so much to see!"

Cheers always,

Hi Gail, First Happy Easter. I like both of these images. The kaleidoscope  type abstract that you are queen of is great but to see what you start with and develop into the final image is very interesting to me. It must take time and patience to get it just the way you want it and I admire that. Fine work Gail. Take care.

Best Always,

Holger
