Eastern State Penitentiary Cell Block Montage

I went to Eastern State Penitentiary with a friend to photograph

something different. I had taken exposures to HDR. When I was grabbing

the images for HDRing I got one that wasn't in the series. But I liked

the effect, somewhat Esher-esque. Comments appreciated.

One has to really stop and look closely at this one to figure out the montage.The blend of the two views of the long corridor turned out well and the resulting image is excellent.Bravo!

Your imagination and talent have made the inside of a prison look even more foreboding . . . and even more fascinating.  The use of a montage definitely was the right call.  Love the splashes of vivid green.

Really very cool image Rick. I've seen some old Penitentiaries on TV, but they are usually in those 'Ghost Hunter' shows. This almost looks like it is 'other worldly' yet not in a dark way. Glad you found this one!
