This big block was pushed onto the beach at high tide and was standed

when the tide receeded ;it will now melt down until it is again picked

up by the tide.Thank you for your comment-Laurent

Great shot Laurent. I like the melting ice and its formation as well as your choice of composition. Just curious how large is this? Take care and have a Happy Easter.

These pieces are not that big;at this stage of melt this one was about 8 ft X 8 ft X 3 ft thick. This is from the broken ice sheet and these are stranded on the beach after having been brought in at high tide and projected aground by high winds. This year, there is not much ice on the beaches as the winds favoured pushing it out at sea;some years, this could be piled up 15 ft high.I thank you for looking in and for the appreciation.I also wish you and yours a Happy Easter.

Meilleures salutations-Laurent
