unsharp, a pity Dianamite..

Hi Olaf, you have some very good photographs in your gallery, but this is not one of them.

iago, you are completely right..! :) Great your being honest..! The reasons of submitting while the image is unsharp? Her expression is 'ugly', but at the same time fascinating. The curled hair and the background and especially that background is unbelievable. What it is, I absolutely don't know, for me it's like a kind of crown, noticed first at home. 

In a flash I only did see her face/hair and next had to turn and shoot nearly at the same time, this because of the crowd. Yes, I got dissapointed about the sharpness isue, but the different elements and especially the colors still are great. More space at the top and less at the bottom would have been finer. I'm sharing here an unlucky child. Even thinking of the title: The real 'Queen of Heaven'.               

Well, you know, we photographers tend to indulge in wishful thinking, that is, we want to believe sometimes that something is good or has any value. It happens to me too. But, before any consideration about a photograph, it's got to be well photographed. This is out of focus, so for me, even if it was a good picture in the whole, it would be a fail. I have my own share of those too.

:) Yes, it's out of focus. The very few times it does happen, the image gets deleted immediately, or mostly first at home. (I hardly do watch images while shooting) However, a series of only 4 being out of focus would, if being sharp, have belonged to my greatest favorites. For me that has nothing to do with wisfull thinking. The adventures of those moments were great, I'm just sharing a result. If we personally would be out of focus, our mothers still would love to show us from time to time. See? That's all. Adios..! Do have an extra good weekend in Spain..! :)
