Always A New Day - (enlarge)

No matter what we experience in life, good times or bad, we know

that life will go on. Whether we are there or not, the sun will always

come up another day. The Moon will also appear and the stars will

decorate the night sky. We are in control of many aspects of our

lives. We have the choice to have a good outlook on life (even if we

feel we are experiencing what we feel is the worst day ever) or we

can choose to search for doom and gloom in every waking moment.

We can look for the positive attributes in others or we can give into

the negative things our mind will think of for a few moments. These

feelings can be nourished by Jealousy or our own misplaced sense

of Self Importance. I find it so sad when I see or come in contact with

people who allow these energies to be invested so unwisely. We are

never promised 'an easy path'. But I feel we are challenged to make

the very best of every second of every day. That's right, taking each

day - one second at a time - the very littlest of baby steps. But we

are all capable of this. It's a choice. We all have choices. I hope for

the most part, I will always strive to make WISE CHOICES. (any

You are so kind, and thoughtful. I have so many thoughts while I am working on an image. When it is a beautiful flower, I cannot be anything but positive and thankful. Yes, it is just a flower, but it is a wonder of creation in my mind. Being able to take their images, is a free 'gift'. How lucky can one be??? Best always to you my friend, :) Gail

I found it very calming while working on it. Summer brings such loveliness, and these flowers are so hardy up here in Canada. They stand so strong and almost 'dare' the sun to shine so hotly upon them. I think we can learn a lot from our 'flower' friends. Many thanks for those lovely words of critique.

We all have our 'moments', and sometimes it is difficult to stand tall and be positive. But If I have a choice, I choose to be Positive. Some days it is a 'decision', truly. But I feel I cannot allow myself to be bogged down by negative thoughts that may attempt to sway my thinking. I was watching a program on TV and the speaker was talking about 'how 'we are what we allow to enter our minds-whether it be by what we read, or watch on TV'. So many of the TV shows now are either about Vampires, murder and degradation, or just -  'too stupid' reality shows. We can choose to build each other up, or tear each other down. A kind word can make the biggest difference in a person's day. So many would rather be miserable, it really is so much easier for some. But their lives will be 'lacking' for that kind of attitude. That is very sad. I am not full of Wisdom, for me, if you have a choice of taking from a 'jar of Positive - or Negative' - how really difficult is that 'choice'???? I've never 'flourished' immersing myself in darkness and negative energy. Who wants to feel emotionally drained and depleted??? You are one of the people I treasure here on PN Holger. You have been a fine example to me of rising above difficult times. I appreciate your friendship you offer, it is a 'Gift'. THANK YOU ! best always, Gail

Sincere thanks Luisa for those kind words. I know when we have talked on the phone and try to do a Photoshop lesson together, I see your eagerness to learn, and it makes it all the more enjoyable. ''always a new day'' is a perfect true reflection in all you words and thoughts about what we can or not do.Today world is overwhelmed by materialism and human simple good feeling and positive thoughts somewhere in second place and just when the situation is to the limit,on the edge remind of what is to be a simple good human being but sometime to late.Is indeed our will to choose much as possible a good way,I don't say is easy but is much better as you said than to be in doom or gloom.The sun will be every morning day on the sky indeed and gives us light,depending on us what we do with it.
