On a windless day,the only movement was on the ice blocks being

floated away by the receeding tide.Thank you for your comment-Laurent

Is a big difference from few weeks ago indeed,I am looking to the sky and wonder if in your area is a difference of sky color from winter to summer, here still to be same nice blue.In my area winter the color of blue sky is vivid but lighter and summer days is a soft blue(I think that is too much dust or other things in the air).

best regards

I know I have mentioned this before, but the polarizer has darkened the sky unnaturally and cut through the water's reflective surface unevenly.  I know that you like using the polarizer and that you like this effect, but to some (like me) it seems like an error and an improper use of the polarizer on an ultra-wide.  It would be nice to see some of these scenes with less or no polarization.  By the way, your sensor may be dirty as I can see a few black dots in the sky.  Regards, Jeff

Don't know about the difference in the sky color, but I know it is getting warmer, not yet warm as nights are still below the freeze point. It is good to see some of this ice gone but as I said earlier, the harbour is still frozen solid which will delay the start of the lobster fishing season.

Salutations-Laurent

Next good day,I will have an outing ''without polarizer'' and see what you think. You are right about these dust spots but I doubt these are from the sensor as this is a brand new camera and this lense is on it full time....maybe spots on the lense or filter?

Meilleures salutations-Laurent

Yes, Laurent, you are right.  At this f-stop spots on a sensor would likely be darker and more defined.
