That's a great picture of Caramelle. Her positioning in the composition is perfect and the overall warmth of the picture despite the remnants of snow and the still bare branches gives the impression of an emergent spring.

For sure Caramelle comes with warm in this composition,I like this point of view with snow grains in foreground and bright light well controlled,bg with nice blue sky and some smoke clouds looks very good too.Central attention on Caramelle with her nice fur and a very calm posture makes the image.

my best regards to you

this is an excellent portrait.  in your composition there are all elements exactly where they should be . lighting are well balanced. the model is at his best ... a lot of feeling. i like also your valuation of colors and the snow seems snow. excellent for my taste. congrats

The camera loves Caramelle, or vice versa? Either way great character shot.

You surprise me all the time, how many different ways one can show this long winter and still make your scenes exiting and meaningful.

Wish you the best.

nice lines in the branches and clouds, Laurent, drawing our attention along the way of what Caramelle is so enraptured by.. "oh Caramelle, your smile and your intellect take my breath away!" lol ;-} dp

Thank you kindly. This was two days ago and that snow has since gone down some, sure sign of spring. Here I had a good POV on my friend as she was ''perched'' on the 4-foot high bank on the side of the driveway.Only consolation,I don't have to worry about cutting the grass for some time yet.

Yes,I thought the background was good with that big sky but Caramelle was not too pleased as she wanted to come down and play:see how her ears are down, but she still gave me a good pose.
