Ice, ice baby. :) Good exposure and tone, nice sense of depth. Sky looks VERY flat for some reason.

Mea culpa! In toning down the image to get better definition on the ice,I also toned down the sky which I should have spared by splitting the image at the horizon line.Thank you for this observation and for the kind appreciation nevertheless.

Is a big difference from last week and is a good sign at last.Is very interesting how this pieces of ice looks  also reflection comes with something plus to this image.Concerning the sky this color seems to me enough natural but try next time to do a selection (when work it) and just carefully work for highlight on the ice to have more details /or use your bracket mode that can take continuous pictures(3 or 5),first photo will be no compensation, the second will be underexposed and third overexposed, you can choose what ev you want.Just an idea.

Thank you for the observation and the suggestion. As I noted to Les above,I should have worked the items seperately and I did this on a similar shot which I attach for your perusal. What do you think?

I think that is very well seen this time the surface ice texture,a bit of colors difference but very well come, conclusion is that is a better one imo, each one as I said with his taste.

all the best to the team Laurent-Caramelle
