Not Here 93 Posted April 11, 2014 Wow, if you get any closer you'll have to ask her for a date ;-). Excellent... Mike Link to comment
edbrown 0 Posted April 12, 2014 Having taken my share of banal pictures of squirrels, i really admire this shot. You've managed to render this squirrel as an individual. Ed Link to comment
rarmstrong 0 Posted April 12, 2014 Thank you all for the nice comments. The story is...I saw some mourning doves and dark eyed juncos in my back yard today, so I set up under my "blind", a large balsam with my tripod and just stood still. The birds came...the juncos anyway and some finches, chickadees and nuthatches, but this squirrel was curious. It walked along the fence until it was about 14 feet away and just looked at me, probably trying to decide if I was a threat or not.So, I fired off 4 shots before the squirrel left. There were 3 others running around in the snow, but this one was the curious one today.Standing still and just observing what goes on in the space of about an hour is honestly a lot of fun.Getting some good shots to share here is icing on the cake.Dick Link to comment
