Magnifique positionnement des couleurs, belle lumière, vivement la pêche.

Great shot. And being "recalled to life" after this winter's hard hibernation couldn't have come soon enough! There's hope for us all along the North Atlantic coast!

Merci bien!Avec toute cette glace,il semble que le début de la pêche sera retardé d'environs une quinzaine de jours, alors il faudra attendre un peu avant de savourer le homard et le crabe frais.

Meilleures salutations-Laurent

Thank you kindly. As I noted to Pierre above,it looks as if the unusually thick ice from our cold winter is going to delay the onset(normally 1st May) of the lobster and crab fishing season by some two weeks.

Nice and "clean" photo Laurent. The ice in the water helps the ship to be quiet and close to the  wharf, well done my friend!

Thank you kindly. As you realized, this boat is going nowhere with the meter deep ice surrounding it and this is only in the confines of the wharf enclosure;the whole harbour is jammed up with this deep ice sheet and the season opening is but two weeks away,so some delay is expected.

Salutations amicales-Laurent
