No damage;this one has a steel hull but there are some with wooden hulls that also spend their winter seized solidly in the ice.I guess once they are frozen in,they just move with the ice sheet under the tide action and thaw out in the spring as this one.To avoid any stress from the mooring cables,they are tied with some special geometry.Thank you for the interest and the appreciation.
