Spring melt!

The freshly cleared parking area at the lighthouse adopts a pond-like

look as the water from the melting snow can't find drainage in the

still frozen ground.Thank you for your comment-Laurent

This has been one well-documented winter. I feel like I've been through the ordeal myself and am almost as glad as you are to see the end of it and the onset of spring

Finally you can see progress in the advancing of more temperate climes! So, you go from ice rink to swimming pool:)! Yes, some of our flowers did get hurt by the frigid temperatures ( crocuses just toppled over. Some daffodils broke under the weight of the snow, but the super hardy ones give us pleasure every day with their beauty.-Happy spring, Laurent!
