A difficult shot actually. APSC body, superzoom travel all-in-one slow lens,

very low light condition and no tripod! This photo is comprised of two shots,

blended manually. Location is Farahzad desert, Isfahan, IRAN. Handheld,

1/50 sec, f/7.1, ISO/320, @18 mm. I'm happy and satisfied by the end

result, and greatly appreciate your opinions. Please see the original picture

Love the lines in the dunes and how they converge!  Glad you didn't give up even with the lack of some equipment.

Beautiful composition with gorgeous shape and texture throughout. It may be worthwhile to try lightening the FG a bit. Well done!

The most difficult part of this picture was probably the "without tripod" detail.

But the result is excellent. The kind of places you can't go back home without taking a photo. Nice, very nice.

And thanks for sharing some details of the " making of " !

Regards, and keep on shooting.

Thank you dear friends for nice words and compliments. Very much appreciated.

Patrick, the scene was really dark and with very low light condition ( as you can see the cool tones and deep shadows ) and i tried to be as near as possible to natural conditions. Thank you for your insightful thoughts.

stephen, Thank you for your feedback. Yes i had one good tripod left in my car ;))

Rolph, you are quite right. The scene was amazing and quite far from life, and and i could not give up the situation. Thank you for stopping by and sharing your valuable thoughts.

My best regards,

Hamid.

You got an amazing desert scape with fantastic light and bags of mood. The sky color and line of horizon in distance are great bonus completing whole experience. Hat off, Hamid Reza.

It is a very pretty shot with a very colorful sky. I was not there but with that warmth in the sky, I expected the foreground Sand to be just a little warmer. As I said, I was not there.
