pete sherman 0 Posted September 23, 2003 composition and exposure are adequate but it still feels a bit like a snap shot for me. Walking the trail (part of which is in photo), there's a sheep, snap. I think you could have worked this much more. Placing the animal more within its surroundings, waiting for more interaction. It's shedding... that means wildflowers are around... could have waited for a more impressive backdrop. It's a competent documentary photograph but doesn't convey more, to me, than that. the muted tones are lovely. a much narrower depth of field might have created more drama. good effort.
