Reynisfjara at Dawn

South coast of Iceland is a continuous source of inspiration to me. Twilight gives the

most soft and subtle color nuance and grand atmosphere, which keep me going back

time and time again.

The soft hues and subtle movement of the waves are most appealing, a beautiful image I can see why you are drawn to this place!

Karin,  You have done an excellent job in creating a terrific image.  Although in color, the image has the attributes of an excellent B&W.  You capture many zones of light or gray scale zones and manage this eerie light well.  The seascapes in the distance add measurably to the image's success.  You saw this well and created a fine image.  I would love to visit Iceland.  I took an overview course last year that was fascinating.  Are you an Icelander?   You have my compliments.    Larry

@Larry, no I am not from Iceland, but live in Belgium. Iceland is just a couple of hours of flying away from home, so I tend to visit once a year if possible, because the landscape is just magnificent and full of inspiration. Best regards, Karin.
