I would never have thought (or had the patience) to re-locate a window! Good idea, it gives a pleasing balance to the three colored elements.  The repeating shadow shapes on the red is pretty nice too.

Moving the window was very simple and quick, Amy.  I simply cloned the same window further left, then cropped off the original one.  All of that took only a few seconds.

 

Work with the Shadows and Highlights filer on Photoshop was the real time-waster here, combined with successive adjustments between that filter and something as simple as Levels.  In other words, getting the colors and contrast and shadow adjustment exactly as I wanted them was the really hard part for me.

Looks like underexposed chrome film; good effect. Vivid color and texture that works well for this subject.

Nice one!  Love the detail in the brick and the moved window.  Sort of wish you'd left the rusted downspout though.  Would have given you red on each side....
