Lost in Daydreams, my Grandson Kael, back in July of 2010. The

children from their school came to visit the Peterborough Zoo that

has a Water Park and Playground. Their school is about an hour

southwest of Peterborough. The children had a wonderful time

cooling off and enjoying a day away from school. Kael was sitting

down putting his shoes on when I glanced over and he seemed to be

a 'million miles away'. Little Memories that I Cherish. (any visits or

comments are always welcome, many thanks, Gail)

Right into my soul...and into my favorites.
I like the images (post processed or not) that make my heart beat faster.

Keep shooting.

Dear Gail,

What a fabulous expression you have captured here, and perfectly titled as well. The subtle treatment works beautifully too. Nice!

In the immortal words of John Lennon  "They may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one"

A lovely moment to cherish  and a great capture of the child's eyes, visiting who knows what fantasy land.  As well as the faraway look, there is an expression of tranquillity that accompanies it, that leads the viewer to believe it's a nice kind of daydream!

Very well done Gail!

Best Regards

Very recognizable style, Gail - admiring work with layers and textures, perfect composition and great story!

The expression of the child and the presentation of he image gives the feel of a shot of a piece from an art gallery.

The explanation given eliminates the element of mystery and letting the viewer have a flight of imagination.

What a lovely comment. I am preparing to print it in large format to see how it does turn out. I am hoping it works out fine.

Your input is much appreciated, kind regards, Gail

Your 'no words' speak volumes Michael. I printed this one out in 13x19 and it turned out  beautifully. I am very pleased with it and plan to give it to my Grandson. Sincere thanks for your kind 'no words', Gail

Hello Gail.  You have done an excellent job here, combining textures and achieving a beautiful result. I think if you give a little more lighting in the eyes, this image would be perfect.  I also like the detail of soft color on the lips.

Kind Regards,

Rosario.

before I posted the image, I had a bit more colour and brightness in the eyes. I think I will try to brighten the eyes a bit. I printed it out large and it looks quite good. I am going to frame it up for my daughter. But I will try lightening the eyes a bit as well. Your kind remarks and suggestion are much appreciated Rosario.

All the best to you, in Peru!!! :) Gail
