Canada geese in the spring

This morning we woke up to a nice little snow storm. A brief visit at

the local park showed that the geese were as excited as I was. They

looked decidedly unhappy! I spent about 15 minutes shooting before my

front element was caked with wet snow and I had no more excuse not to

go to work.

It was actually much warmer today, and the signs of spring are everywhere: the willows are bright yellow, the hazels have their catkins out and the first spring flowers are poking their heads out.

A superb monochromatic shot that has to be viewed large to get the full impact. Excellent composition and great exposure. Hope you are hanging a large version on a wall somewhere. Best wishes William.
