condition.Thank you for your comment-Laurent

We had a good storm and it went on all day as the wind never died down,so I made no attempt to dig out of it;even the highways dept.could not manage to open this side road and had to back off as the snow plow just could not break through(see attached photo). The storm was very wide and the southern part of the province got freezing rain with the accompanying power outages from trees falling on powerlines;recent count says 30k homes without power since early morning....a lot worst than this.We will still have snow on the ground and ice on the harbour in May for sure.

This image / and looking out from my window makes me ichy to move somewhere sunny and warm..... at this moment even Pelee Island looks bettter than this, i just noticed when i'm sitting on the sofa my body starting to lean toward the sunshine thru the window....

The shot by the way is very powerful i imagine our members from warmer climate are wondering why are we up here?

Hope you have a snowblower...

My best regards.

I also sometimes wonder, especially at times like this why I am up here.I guess we always hope that the latest storm is going to be the last.Yes, I have a good old tractor c/w blade and blower(see recent folder),but it also has its limits and cleaning out a storm like this  consumes several hours.Thank you for looking in and for appreciating.

Wow, I thought all those heavy snow removal equipment on your images are the municipal guys doing their jobs.. In this case I admire your winter scenes even more when I see all those snow banks you have to clear yourself.

Wishing you the best.

Misunderstanding!!! Those big machines are the municipal guys at work on the main roads.I meant that with my old farm tractor(photo no.1),I have to look after the same snow around the house and the approx. 3/4 km road to the cottage(photo no.2).
