This is the last stage of this flower from bud I presented you last

week and is very interesting how it grows with two layers of petals

and each time in evolution tone color is changed, but final flower has

very nice white stamens with golden pollen on it,petals looks in some

light condition pearly.

I'm 73 and retired lawyer. I started taking pictures when I was in USA by the age of 14, with a Kodak Brownie 126 , most b&w. I shoot digital, but keep asking myself why not take less pictures and return to film ? My results were better in the old days, and I guess it was more fun. Your Bud to final is beautiful, but I have a feeling that film would do much better to your talent. Forgive my English.

I appreciate your very interesting opinion and vision about this subject. My photo beginning was in '72 with of course film and lot of slides that I did.Was the time when I worked myself films in ''dark room'' that was the kitchen. Was very nice and had a special charm.I did digital just after '94.Who knows maybe will be a time to use that technique again.Thank you for your time and comment.

So lovely Radu! Here I know them better as Christmas Cactus, but they do bloom at other times other than Christmas. I used to sell quite a few of them when I worked in a Flower Shop. Very popular here during the Christmas Season. I bought my Mother one that was this colour quite a few years ago, but I should have taken pictures of it. Lovely texture in the this lovely Fushcia specimen.

Very nice work Radu.

I'm always so envious of your talents when it comes to photographing flowers! And, I do "lurk silently" within your gallery often!

Even more so when my Daughter visits, . . . she is "flower crazy" and most of her home art decoration is along that theme. But, being a military wife she dosen't get the opportunity to actually have a Flower Garden as she wishes because of the frequent moves.

The lighting, colors, background and details here are simply exquisite!

Regards always,

Jim j.

Beautiful presentation of a nice flower but not easy to phohograph. Color and sharpness splendid as usual.
