snow.Thank you for your comment-Laurent

You mentioned spring on one of Greg's crocuses. We always envy you when we see your beautiful landscapes-the openness, the ocean. It is such a visual treat, it opens our mind and our hearts. We live in the hills, also beautiful, but Greg misses the ocean. As much as we envy you, the deep winter at the end of March is sobering. So, early crocuses for the trade-off of your neck of the "woods".

Generally I don't like snow, winter in the city can be really annoying... Fortunately YOUR winter looks great... :-)

This year we have "normal" spring, but the year ago we had WHITE EASTER. This photo was taken on April, 1st 2013 - Easter Monday.

Regards.

This is not fun anymore. This here is the last stretch of road to the cottage and my old tractor just could not handle the up to 8 feet deep of blown snow that the last storm has piled up,so hard you don't need snowshoes.Worst yet for me,the road to the tip of the island where I take most of beach shots has been closed off for the last two weeks but I guess it does not matter that much because like most people here, I have been spending whatever loose time I have digging out from under this white mess.It will be sometimes in May here before we see any grass peek through.Thank you for looking in and keep posting those nice flowers.

Meilleures salutations-Laurent

Thank you for looking in.We usually have long winters here but this year is exceptionnal as it is still relatively cold and we keep getting new snow in large quantities, but it will eventually warm up and all this will disappear as it does every year.

Meilleures salutations-Laurent
