The colors are amazing. The problem is that they don't fill up enough of the frame. The fact that the top of the sky is almost black makes it blend in too much with the top of the tree. If you would have taken the photo a bit later I'm sure that the sky would have been bright enough to create better separation from the tree on the left. one thing you could do is turn it into a pano by cropping out the very top  and bottom. This would better draw the focus of the viewer to the amazing reds and oranges of the sky.
