Surprised it doesn't have that tail up at about a 45 degree angle as I usually see them!

I just can't get them to hold still long enough! And, they don't listen to directions very well either!

 

We had a pair of Wren's nest in one of the Bird Houses last year but, I think it was their "secondary nest" as we never observed any chicks!, . . . maybe this year when it warms up just a bit more they'll be showing up.

 

You captured all the wonderful distinct details against that very nice background and, the little blue flowers are the icing on top of it all!

Thanks Jim! I also have the next shot (he was taking off) but the 5D Mark II was a bit slow and I got only 1 shot with the wings up. However, his/her eye was quinted. :-)
