Landrum Kelly 64 Posted March 21, 2014 Shot at ISO 12800 in order to be able to freeze the action. Hand-held. Comments welcome.--Lannie Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted March 21, 2014 Nicely done, Lannie. Surprisingly little noise for the high ISO. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted March 21, 2014 Thanks, Jack. Hope I can hang onto this second-hand camera. Times are tight. It is really spring here today. I would love to see spring in Japan. --Lannie Link to comment
AmyHelmick 0 Posted March 22, 2014 The mix of warm and cool tones is what initially catches my eye in this one. That golden orange is so rich. I also really like being able to see rain, especially in the headlights. Good one, Lannie.Amy Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted March 22, 2014 I am most impressed with the clarity given that you shot this image handheld. It is a provocative study in color and light. My best, michael Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted March 23, 2014 Thanks, Michael. Here is one where I do believe that the camera deserves the credit for the clarity. Fortunately for me, I got it cheap on eBay. I hope that I can hang onto it during some tough times--or else it goes back to eBay to pay for rent or groceries. (I see that I am beginning to repeat myself--I told Jack the same thing above. The reason is simple: Things really are tight, and that stays on my mind a lot.) --Lannie Link to comment
