The very new way of being together is having contact with someone else than the one you are spending your time with. Never expected that loving someone is becoming more a multy concection job.

is as other of your photos very well observed and caught with excellent bw processed.Looking this in my mind came again the fact that today especially young peoples feel life impossible without smartphones,don't understand me wrong,I agree and like  all news technological gadgets but sometime people forget that a simple talk face to face,a walk with free mind from every days problems like decades ago still to be a better moment in life,just a mine thought looking this photo and moment.

Your observation and capture are spot on, but I find the subject matter bittersweet.  I guess I fit into the generation that finds the ringing of a telephone an interruption.  Great shot though... Mike

An excellent commentary on the current state of human relationships . . .  Would this young lady still be lying comfortable in this young man's lap if she - or both - were not tethered to an electronic device?

 

As with all your street work, this image is almost a textbook on how to compose, how to take full advantage of ambient lighting, in short, how to excel at photography.
