Hamburg boasts more bridges than Amsterdam...but I have no idea whether that is true or not-:)

It is the current fashion, there for couples to put padlocks with their names inscribed on them. These two young people are checking the names on the padlocks, presumably to find out who is currently with whom..

They will soon find out there enough padlocks in relationships, real or imaginary, especially once they get married : - )

I really like the way you have allowed the major part of the image to be dominated by the superb reflections. The slightly rippled water adds great texture to the scene and contrasts sharply when the viewers eyes comes to rest on the very sharp solid figures on the bridge! Must be seen large!

All the very best my friend!

I very much like this composition with the very large almost regal reflection and the small mundane people on the bridge.

Padlocked!  An interesting social analogy, but quite apt except if you're in Hollywood ;-).  Excellent observation and capture, I particularly like the reflection element... Mike

Oh they will...they will, in the meantime the padlock merchants are making a fortune..-:).

Young people should 'reflect' before they enter any relationship...(Pun intended)..-:).

Thank you Alf for your visit and wonderful comment.

Whatever meaning one wants to give to this, and there is always more than one...the picture is mainly about the reflection....
