I am quite familiar with these guys (Hibiscus).  Beautiful and hardy plants.  This image is quite striking - sharp and nice composition.  I especially like the treatment of the purple background.

Jerry- thank you for your kind words! Hibiscus are very nice plants and grow in my front garden, besides their beauty they are used widely in some countries as useful herbs which have many beneficial effects, as you surely know. The photo is hdr of 3 photos, which allowed the background treatment.
