This powerfully reminds us of how dirty and gritty reality can be for so many people across the globe.  It appears that the man in this scene is about to walk directly into the beast's mouth; the beast is poverty.  His welcome is in the form of tattered rags above his head.

I guess we don't know if the arch made by the machine's arm placement is accidental or not, but it is suggestive of some motive and with the doorway's shattered door remnants invites somebody to walk in. And someone did. Good catch.

Perfect title for this image. It is as if this man is entering the 'belly of the beast' as well. Not a place I'd want to venture in with only 'sandals' on, but I'm never eager to hang out in any 'Beast's' Lair!!

There is decent daylight in this place but it still is 'unsavory' for me.  Well seen Jack.

My first reaction was that some people like extreme tourism, but I understand he is looking for attractive corners to take interesting photos. Very nice work, Jack!
